Sunday School

Sunday School classes are held at 9:30 am for preschool children through high school youth.

New students or families are always welcome!

Music is a special part of Sunday School and includes a Children’s Choir and Children’s Bell Choir.   Special Sunday School activities include Puppets of Faith (featured the last Sunday for the month for preschool through third grade), Worship in the Woods (a special time for stories, snacks, music and prayer at the Pavilion on church property), Bible Sunday (2nd graders receive a Bible of their own), Christmas program with reception for parents, Valentines for shut-ins, Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday, pansy plants for parents and ‘Sundae’ Sunday treats.  Books and videos can be checked out from the Book Nook after class.

Sunday School offerings are donated to projects such as the CROP Hunger Relief Walk, Mason County Animal Shelter, socks and underwear for the Women’s Shelter, children’s needs at the Henderson Settlement in Kentucky, Toys for Tots, blankets, mittens and hats for children, as well as international projects in Zambia and the Dominican Republic.

Vacation Bible School is held each summer for children ages 3 years to 5th grade.   Details will be posted in the web-site.

Middle School and High School Youth Groups, called Legacy are held Sunday afternoons and supervised by a Youth Director.   See the Legacy link for more information.

Summer Sunday School During the Summer, children start in the Sanctuary with the Children's Sermon.  Then they go to the Christian Education wing for Sunday School.  The lessons are taken from the One Room Sunday School material.
