COVID-19 Procedures for
Set Up and Cleaning
Supplies at the Welcome Table Masks, attendance sheet, sanitizer (sanitizer wipes or chlorine bleach water & cloths), wastebasket with liners, facial tissues, gloves for use with sanitizer, no touch forehead thermometer, screening checklist are all supplied by the church.

People Needed While one person can do the cleaning, the job is big enough to assign two people. Sanitize the meeting space and any bathroom or office space used.  Be observant of what people touch throughout the course of the gathering.
Post meeting Sanitizing Sanitizer options— (1) Super Sani-Cloths or equivalent; or (2) Bleach solution--5 Tablespoons bleach in 1 gallon water or 4 teaspoons of bleach in 1 quart of water (should test 200 or more parts per million with chlorine test strips. There should be a slight bleach smell when items are wiped down).
With gloved hands, use Super Sani-cloth or cloth with bleach solution to wipe down anything touched—including at least the following (rewetting cloth or getting fresh wipe when drying out or dirty):
1. Chairs used—including seat, back (where pushed in or pulled out), and underneath (where touched to pull chair forward
2. Tables—touched or within 6 feet of a participant.
3. Light Switches, Doorknobs, inside and out.
Wipe down all used bathrooms • Door handles on way in and out
• Stall door edges and locks
• Hand contact areas on toilet roll dispensers
• Flush handles on toilets (don’t need to do the toilet seat)
• Grab bars
• Faucet handles and hand contact areas on soap dispenser & towel holder
• Door handle and light switches used on building entry and exit, as well as any phone or computer used
Disposal of waste Dispose of single use gloves or wash reusable gloves with soap and water, dispose of used wipes, empty trash (and take to dumpster on exit) and put clean bag in waste basket. Dump out bleach water.  Take cloths home for laundering.
